Our Flying Start programme is located in the grounds of Bryn Celyn Primary School and Pen-y-Groes Primary School. We are registered for 32 children and can take 24 at any one time in our English speaking setting. A maximum of 8 children can be looked after during the mornings in Blodau Bychain our welsh speaking flying start only provision.
Flying start is a Welsh Government funded programme which is targeted at children aged 0-3 years 11 months and their families who live in certain areas of Cardiff.
We are fully committed to the active promotion of equal opportunities for all children and families in the setting.
Children communicate their needs, feelings and thoughts through real life experiences in play. This helps them to learn about themselves and others.
Children of all cultures and abilities are encouraged to enjoy the valuable pre-school facility provide by the local community.
Daily attendance for five sessions a week is offered, the term following a child’s second birthday. This continues until they turn three.
We offer two separate sessions in the morning and afternoon for up to 32 children aged 2 to 3 years old.
Children will be allocated either a morning or afternoon session.
